My funny story of the week: Visiting my 100 year old Gmother at Assisting Living tonight and she was in the dining room right before dinner. Shes hard of hearing so we are talking VERY LOUDLY to each other. The other residents and staff cant help but overhear every single word we are yelling at each other lol :-) She observes that I am picking at my nails and looks me straight in the eye and asks, You still pick your nails ? (a bad childhood habit of mine) Me: yes, as I stop picking my nails Her: Do you still bite your toenails? (another bad childhood habit) :-) Me: quietly shaking my head No. Thankfully most of the residents dont hear very well either and the staff pretends not to hear :-) Her hearing may be very bad but her memory is excellent LOL!! And no, for those that are wondering there is no way at my age to get my toenails up that high ;-)
