My girl is a fighter, she is a warrior. The doctors have been amazed at her resilience through all of this. They said that usually in cases like this, the body starts to shut down other organs to protect the heart and the brain. As of this morning, her liver, lungs and kidneys are all functioning normally. Let me tell you how awesome my God is and I know some of you dont believe as I do and dont understand why would God let something like this happen. We live in an imperfect world, with imperfect people. There is sin in this world. It doesnt take away from who God is or what He does for us. I dont understand many things but I do know where my faith lies. Two weeks ago, Nanis kidney function was declining. The effects of the lupus constantly flaring had left what the doctors believed was irreparable damage. The blood work doesnt lie. The miracle that took place despite all the other circumstances was that her kidneys are functioning normally. This is huge! Her kidneys arent even showing damage from the lupus. The doctors here are shocked. I am grateful. She is a fighter and she has been speaking positive things and healing over herself. As difficult as this situation is, I have peace. I know that I have no control over this but I have a God who is watching over her. She is surrounded by angels! Thank you all again for the thoughts and prayers. I havent been able to get to all the text messages and phone calls but I am feeling so loved and supported right. We are forever grateful.
