My go to has always been scripture. Happy/Scripture. sorrowful/Scripture. Joyful/Scripture. Most recently- these emotions that have surfaced with my moms current passing, I can not articulate- they do closely mirror what Job lamented in Job/13:15. Job sums it up perfectly in saying....though you slay me, Lord, I will STILL put my trust in you. Amen to that bro. Amen to that. Job, if I had your phone number and we were in the same century- I would have already bought and shared a few beers with you and I promise I would not be as flakey as the other friends you had. lol Mercy.
