My goal this year is to really display another side of me as an artist. I am still getting my feet wet when it comes to choreography, and as you can imagine, I am incredibly nervous to share my work. Let’s face it, not everyone is supportive of other people’s creations; nonetheless, it was important for me to experience this process. I am EXTREMELY lucky to be so surrounded by a talented community of dancers, including these five INSPIRATIONAL ladies – Leila Henry, Bobbi Ponder, Brenda Sekosan, Elisa Montalvo, & Madeline Schaeffer – who made my movement come to life. HUGE THANK YOU to Mr. Jack Pbj Chen as well! He is simply a rock star at what he does. Last but not least, I want to give a S/O to my mentor (you know who you are) who has provided endless encouragement as I continue to grow my artistic voice.
