My good friend Barry, posted this tonight in his wonderful nightly playlist, and it really hit home. One hell of a song, with such a stirring message for all of us. Phil Ochs, in my opinion, was the best protest singer/songwriter of that era (60s) and his songs moved me more than even Dylans (if that is possible). Phil was really a believer, and made you believe you can make a difference, as important a message then as now. He died so young (36) but left a amazing legacy. So, I guess we will all have to do it while we are here: love each other, enjoy our planet, and fight like hell to save it (and us).
