My good friend and sister (from my other mother), Lauren OBrien, challenged me to the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. I have accepted and undertook my challenge today at Long Beach Lifeguard Headquarters. Now I am asking some key people in the Point Lookout - Lido community to step up to the plate and take the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge in the next 24 hours...........and they would be the 3 Chiefs of the Point Lookout-Lido Fire Department....Chief Jimmy Walsh and his deputies, Dan Wiener and Brian Guerin. Since they have 24 hours to complete the challenge or donate $100 to ALS Research, a perfect place to accept the challenge would be at Monday nights Fire Council meeting. Are you 3 Chiefs men enough to accept the challenge in front of your Department? You have 24 hours to show us the leaders your are. Good Luck!
