My good friends, I know some of you are probably getting tired of me posting all these sad homeless dog stories and pictures so, if you want you can just hit ignore posts or block me...and no hard feelings. I feel so bad the way humans have treated these poor dogs and I dont know anything else that I can do to try and help them, besides this. The thing is with almost all of the County-City animal control departments there are no hard fast rules on what happens to these dogs. If they are perceived as aggressive and not adoptable they are put down. Notice I said perceived. There could be no worse place to evaluate a dog than when they are trapped in a pound. The point is when these animals come in there is no way to predict how long we have to find them a home before they are put down or transferred out. When they get transferred out then who knows what happens to them. So far I havent been too successful at this as I havent helped one single dog get a new family. Very discouraging...
