My good wishes are with the people of Scotland as they choose their path. I have written a few words below in support of independence - my hope is for a modern constitutional democracy, with social justice, compassion for the vulnerable, and care for the environment at its core. On This Our Day A nation born of wilderness, of winter snow and weather fair, from distant shores of islands north, of mountain, lake, of city, rare, wrap arms around this future song, declare, that on this day of certain change, our world will better be, for woman, man, our old, our young, our strength on this our day we sing, as one.
