My goodness. This guy REALLY hates his country! First of all, the United States did not invade Korea, Vietnam, Lebanon, or Somalia. South Korea was an ally of the U.S., and American troops were present there when North Korea INVADED the South. Same thing with South Vietnam. The United States entered Lebanon as a peacekeeping force to oversee the PLOs escape from the advancing Israeli Army. U.S. troops were present in Somalia to protect famine relief activities. Besides, Americas activities in Lebanon and Somalia can hardly be called wars. Mr. Hodges should thank his lucky stars that the United States was there to contain the aggression of Soviet Communism. If it wasnt for his country, Mr. Hodges might be working in a government factory and shopping the bare shelves of a government grocery store. But perhaps hed like that.
