My goodness me, this Weekends interfaith Wedding at the The Old - TopicsExpress

My goodness me, this Weekends interfaith Wedding at the The Old Green Barn Newdigate is going to be a right bobby-dazzler! The couple wish to acknowledge the Grooms Jewish faith and so their Ceremony includes a lot of Jewish customs and symbolism, within the beautiful surroundings of a beamed barn strung with fairy lights. Well be standing under a canopy (Chuppah) designed to represent the couples new home, always open to visitors. Wine will be blessed (Kiddush) and shared amongst both families. The Bride will perform Hakafot (encircling her Groom); well have Seven Blessings (Sheva Brachot) read in Hebrew and English, the ceremony will conclude with the Breaking of a Glass and a congratulatory Mazeltov! My couple will then sign their bespoke marriage contract (Ketubah) which has a Claddagh design element for the Brides Irish heritage. Here are some examples of some highly decorative Ketubahs.
