At Active Self Protection we believe drinking and driving is a terrible danger. Quick personal story: On January 16, 2000 I was rear-ended by a drunk driver. To that point I was an aspiring Naval officer who was headed for a promising career in nuclear submarines. The kid who hit me blew a 0.24, 2 1/2 hours AFTER he hit me. The wreck blew out three discs in my low back (L3, 4, 5 for anyone interested) and ended my Naval career. It cost me $250,000 in salary difference alone, and to this day my back bothers me.
