“My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.” Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me. Therefore I am well content with weaknesses, with insults, with distresses, with persecutions, with difficulties, for Christ’s sake; for when I am weak, then I am strong.” – 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 Paul was under attack when he wrote these verses. A group of people in the Corinthian church didn’t like Paul. They questioned his character, his doctrine, and they were rebelling against his authority. They also despised the way he looked. What do you learn about God’s grace from these verses? Do you see the connection between grace and power? Memorize these verses so that the Holy Spirit can bring them to your mind. May you be overwhelmed by the truth of these verses in the days ahead.
