My grade for In A World... is a B-, great premise and well put together by writer, star and director Lake Bell. Very few laughs although genuine make this a ok comedy outing but the acting isnt fantastic though it works good enough. Besides Bell, the cast features Demetri Martin, Rob Corddry, Alexandra Holden, Fred Melamed, Nick Offerman, Michaela Watkins, Geena Davis and cameos by Eva Longoria, Jeff Garlin and Cameron Diaz. Not a total laugh but it was certainly watchable eventhough Ken Marino is in it who I cant stand, great outing for Holden as a standout. Movie suffers with slow spots at the beginning but as the movie goes along it gets better. Interesting premise behind voice over acting, who knew!
