My grandfather - a Shintō priest and Samurai - Ábé Yūko, - TopicsExpress

My grandfather - a Shintō priest and Samurai - Ábé Yūko, Reiki Practitioner (KYOTO, JAPAN) I knew that there must be some people who had great power of Ki-energy somewhere, but not many people did. The reason why I thought in that way was my great grandfather was a hands-on healing practitioner as he was a Shintō priest after the Meiji revolution. During the Meiji revolution, he had to change his occupation as he was a Samurai. I did not know the difference between Reiki method and what my great grandfather used to do before I started to learn Reiki. What he used to do was similar to 気功 or Qigong. So he had to make his own ki-energy and send the Ki-energy to his clients. The Reiki method is great, as you do not have to make your own Ki-energy, you do not receive any negative energy from your clients, and also the method is very simple. Those are the very different parts from what my great grandfather used to do. As he used to make his own Ki-energy, and give the ki-energy to his clients, he used to feel or receive some negative energy of his clients. #KomyoReikiKaiNewYork, #komyoreikikai Komyo Reiki Kai New York
