My grandfather and my father. Its my fathers birthday today. Im looking through both of their diaries tonight. Stanly doesnt mention Laverns (my dad) birthday until 1945. when he says Lavern Birthday. All saw Abbott and Costello, in Lost in a harem I went to look at a clip of that movie and watched it. Ill include it in the comment section below. having these diaries makes me acutely aware of the synchronicities of these lives. his his mine. etc. I dont know if the joke at 00:59 is more humorous or surreal considering the world today. Being of conspiracy mind ( or just generally more open to the strangeness of life and the perversity of man, seeing that stereotypical portrayal of what those Middle Eastern people do, makes me think more than ever that the stuff we are seeing, the story being presented to us is theater. They do call places where wars take place theaters and the bad guys bad actors. Well as Shakespeare said all the worlds a stage. havent they put this show on a few too many times? like some old tedious war horse musical like Music Man?
