My grandfather.. well, my Pappy passed away this morning. My son will never get to meet this one of a kind man but there will be many stories of the kind of person he was. I know he will be greatly missed by Everyone that knew him. I wish I had more time with him but distance kept us apart. I love him very much and for as long as I can remember the children of our family had one promise for him. We would sing him his song at his funeral. He isnt having a funeral and I cant travel being so close to my due date. I will just leave his here.. My mamma said do I be good shed send me to the store. She said shed bake a gingerbread cake if I would sweep the floor. She said if I would make the beds and watch the telephone she would send me out to get a chocolate ice cream cone. And so I did the things she said and she baked a gingerbread and I went out just me alone to buy myself a chocolate ice cream cone. Upon my way I stubbed my toe on a great big stone indeed I tell you that I dropped my chocolate ice cream cone. A little puppy came along and took a great big lick and I hit that mean old dog with just a little stick and he bit me where I sit down and he chased me alone over town. And now im lost, cant find my way. All because of a chocolate ice cream cone. I love you Bob Zook. This world will never be the same. Give em trouble in the next ♡
