My grandmother left us in January after an amazing 94 years on this earth. She was an important part of my growing up. I lived just 4 houses down from her. My entire extended family has millions of memories with her. My own children have grown up going to Memaws. Mark & I decided to buy her house and keep it as a family home for the Addington clan. The littles and I are spending Spring Break at the house. Over the years the kids will be able to spend time here and experience being just 4 houses from their Nana & Papa. I am going through things and breathing in the spirit of my grandparents while making the home a little bit of us as well. What a blessing. The boys and their cousin just walked to the park, which I can see from our house, to play basketball. I am so grateful for this new experience in our lives. Life is short. Do crazy things!
