My gratitude and high-flying feelings about the making and sharing of Ben Lewis LONESOME DEVIL is matched only by my excitement to keep making and playing (and singing and dancing and acting) with Brittany Parker and Andrew Simon and the Mohawk Arts Collective in Maine (mohawkartscollective). (A director must perform at least once a year to remind herself how horrifying it is.) And in early December were bringing a buttload (scientific term) of new creative performance work of all kinds to Cloud City for the first ever Bklyn-based Mohawkfest! But before that Im going back to the Bass Harbor barn, and continuing my personal mission: bring the best practices of the culture of the city to the country, and bring the best practices of the culture of the country back to the city...
