My great Aunt Martha, the Family Matriarch in Bermuda passed away peacefully in her sleep this morning. She was 99 with her 100th birthday less than 90 days away. Reports were she was up last night talking and laughing as usual, went to sleep and woke up with Jesus. I have fond memories of her from my trips to Bermuda. She had a beautiful small cottage overlooking the ocean in Bermuda. When my Grandmother died after her funeral I remember going to Aunt Martha house, lighting up a Cuban Cigar and slowly smoking it While I grieved my Grandmothers loss. Now, my Aunt is gone. I mourn her loss but I also rejoice because she lived a long time and helped a lot of people in the family. RIP Granny!
