My great friend Renee Williams is married to an awesome man and they have a beautiful daughter. Scott is deployed in Afghanistan. He was supposed to get to come home for a couple weeks during their daughters birthday and were going to have their holidays then. Government shutdown kept him from coming home. This morning, Renee received word that Scotts group was in a hot spot they were attacked basically. Scott has internal bleeding and the others suffered injury as well. Prayer is needed for these men and their families. Its one thing to hear about or see things like this on the news or off from here and its heartbreaking. This is our family, not by blood but by love and friendship, which makes it even more so. Every day we watch Renee come to work with a smile on her face and youd never know whats goin on in her head or heart...but we know without her saying a word. Its also one thing for your spouse to be injured and be able to be by their side but completely different when theyre on the other end of the world. Please pray for these men and their families.
