My great grandma passed away from diabetes when my grandpa was only two. My grandma and my grandpa developed type 2 diabetes before I hit my teens. It runs in my family. Thankfully my mom hasnt developed it and I plan on preventing it too. If you could fast forward to your kids lives when theyre in their 30s what would you see? Would they be obese, struggling with their weight because of the unhealthy choices you made for them growing up? Or would you see them at a healthy bmi, active, making healthy decisions because you showed them how when they were little? Its something to think about. Keep that in mind with every meal you cook or buy for your kids. Keep that in mind every time you do something active with your kids or skip the activities to sit on the couch and binge. We can stop this epidemic and change our childrens future. ~Lauren
