My great-grandmother Sarah Roffwarg Dubows parents are Celia Dubow (1865 - 1946) and Yehudah Leib Dubow. My great-great grandmother Celia Dubows fathers name is Joseph. Celia and her family are from Skvira. I also know there is a last name Mazursky. This Mazursky is a second marriage to one of my great-great-great grandparents. My great grandmother Sarah Roffwarg Dubow had a cousin whom everyone called Uncle Max. His last name is Mass. Mass was Mazursky in the Ukraine. I am curious to see if there is a family connection between my great great grandmother Celia Dubows parents and the Twerskys or some other Chassidic dynasty. I have pictures of them and there is a strong family resemblance between my family and the Twerskys. I am also curious about my great-great grandfather Yehudah Leib Dubows family. In a picture of him, he looks like a modern day Lubavitcher Chassid. He had a brother Avrum Moshe Dubow who lived in Chicago. I believe my great-great grandfather is buried in Chicago. I am curious to see if they were Lubavitcher Chassidim in Russia.
