My greatest passion is inspiring people towards attaining their God-ordained destiny and last night while I had one of my usual mentorship sessions with a teenage friend, he said something that got me really thinking again. I have this burning desire within to be rich and famous; I want to be an international public figure, but something tells me that I have to compromise in some way to become this A very clear point that jumped at me from his statement is the fact that most young people think its impossible to succeed in life without compromising ones faith and values. This shows that there is a dearth of good role modeling. It seems to me that good people just do their thing in one little corner and leave the stage for the bad guys to make all the noise and seduce these young minds with frivolities. Someone somewhere needs direction. A word or a good act from us can change everything for them. They just need to hear from us that its possible to get there. They need someone to point them to their Maker. I really think we should get to flaunt our good virtues. The world needs to see that theres nothing wrong with being honest, diligent and chaste. Dont do that good in your little corner; go into the world and let your light shine. Be the reason that someone didnt throw in the towel on his dreams and faith. This is the Spirit of Leadership - championing positive influence.
