My greatest pet peeve is having too many pet peeves. Bewee says I should be more gracious and understanding in this phase of my life, but as I grow older it seems the little annoyances of life crank me off even more. For example: the person ahead of you in the grocery checkout lane who stands patiently until all the items are scanned and bagged, waits to hear the total, THEN reaches into their pocket or purse to begin searching for money or writing the check! Did they think the groceries were going to be free today? In the five minutes they were mesmerized by their food-to-be going down the belt it never occurred to them to start getting their payment together? Hey, lady, I got places to go and people to see! Whats your peeve du jour?
