My guy had a good breakfast this morning and I made him a little coffee and borrowed a mug from the dining cart. I didnt even realize until after the first couple of sips its the first time hes drank from a cup and not through a straw! Dr. came by and looks like still on track to go to inpatient rehab tomorrow! Weve already had a visit from the facility coordinator and will go by for a tour later today. Its right across from the hospital, so hopefully it will be convenient for visitors. I know there are LOTS of friends who want to come & see him. Thank you all for understanding our somewhat restricted visitation. It was best for him and thats what matters most. Weve had quite a few funny moments and seeing him laugh did my heart good. He will be able to wear regular clothing in rehab, so Darby & I will shop for a few items this afternoon. Keep the prayers coming, please! Hes come a long way in the past week and GRATEFUL doesnt begin to describe how we are feeling! ❤️
