My head CRACKS... Just too much to do, digest and dismiss OR retain. Dunno if I have a partner there...NIGERIA is becoming very difficult to live in. It does not matter ur status. U have to work excess of 24hrs a day to break even. U ll have to rack your brain silly. Smartness and creativity the buzz words. And the pressure to compromise ur principles in order to belong is so tempting...OMG!!! Merit is no longer an issue. Incompetence has become a real threat. The more privileged and passionate u are, the worse. U just cant seem to turn a blind eye to various requests coming your way...Moreso wen u are perceived as "the ultimate problem solver". U live in the city. U re comfortable by standards and opinion of others. U have connections by perception. U drive good cars. U try to live within your means... but to not a few...u are made and u must drop...it doesnt matter if u ache doin it. Suddenly u have have to fill the vacuum forced down on the polity thru bad governance...school fees, house rents, tenement rates, taxes (multiple), illegal check points, egunje @ the MDAs, settlement in ur community (some dont go home again), chairman/patron @ at launches, 419 calls, security threats and charges, u build and treat ur own water, provide security, purchase and maintain ur own generator, just to mention a few. These are all u do despite being a hardworking, patriotic and passionate NIGERIAN. I dunno...is anyone there feeling me??? How sustainable? I don tire joor...
