My heart aches for Nigeria. It is not the home of my birth, but it - TopicsExpress

My heart aches for Nigeria. It is not the home of my birth, but it is the land that suckled and shaped me. I learned to love all though tribe and tongue may differ. I learned to listen and respect others rights to their opinions. I learned the value of hard work and integrity. I learned to till the soil and enjoy the fruits of my labor. In this land, I grew in my knowledge and love of God. I played out on the streets of this land, climbed trees and mountains, foraged for crabs and even sold my homegrown corn in the marketplace. What Nigeria are we passing on to our children? Nigeria, oh my Nigeria! Will we seek God and fight this fight and win? Or will we cower and die the death of the hopeless?
