My heart and mind have been on my oldest brother, Randy, today. This would have been his 60th birthday. He always said the entire country celebrated his birthday! He passed away on June 30, 2000, and these fourteen years have been really hard. He was one of the funniest, most outgoing, and stubborn people Ive ever known. He was a wonderful brother, son, father, and uncle. He loved children and they loved him equally in return. He never met a stranger and always had a joke ready for you. He was the family Santa at Christmas, took all of the kids on hayrides and had the loudest laugh in the room (and we have a lot of loud people in our family). These pictures show that he had a funny and silly side, but they also show his sweet and loving side. He never failed to give you advice when you needed it or help you when you needed it. I cant wait to see you again some day, big brother.
