My heart bleed as am writing this! Lagos state government - TopicsExpress

My heart bleed as am writing this! Lagos state government selected, arrested, detained for six good months and later bundle Igbos sons down to Onitsha head bridge. They were dumped there at an unholy hour of 3am for cold and insecurity to take its turn on them. Its unfortunate and wicked that a lawyer like Fashola has lost every scintilla of respect to fundamental human right. The law is clear that every Nigerian has the right to live at/in any place of his/or her choice. This constitutionally guaranteed right of these youth of south east extraction is what Fashola has shamelessly failed to acknowledge and respect. That is by the way. Rather than bemoan this manifestation of wickedness, its time for us IGBO to turn "right" for once. This should be the case since its now crystal clear that tribalism has permeated into the born and marrows of our fellow compatriots that they see nothing good in Igbos. Its time for southeast governor to seek integration towards developing a master plan on economic integration that will make our economy substantially viable and attractive for investment. New cities should be developed to house fellow Igbo sorjourners who yarn for home. Mr Goodluck should ask not to renege in any of his promises to south east during his 2011 campaign tour. He should bring to fruitful reality the second Niger bridge. Functional sea ports be established in both Onitsha and Ugwuta for direct ferry of goods to the east. Enugu Airport should be made optimally functional on international scale. It is wicked that among all the 26 roads awarded by Yar adua government, only Enugu-Onitsha road has be found in contract hitches. Enugu porthacourt road was merely patched. It is my humble insistence that Ndi Igbo should deny their votes to Jonathan if he fails to keep the promises made. We do rather give it to anyperson that will protect our interest. Finally, I would urge ndi igbo not to see the "deportation" in any other way but as a clarion call to think home.
