My heart bleeds so much when I see my brothers and sisters after working so hard in South Africa they end up paying every Police and Immigration officers in Zimbabwe and Mozambique for OVERSTAYING(working without Permits in SA). Its understandable they have to pay in SA for Overstaying, but why paying in a country they r just passing(in-transit). I have never stayed in SA but I know how hard it is to earn a living down there, mainly when u r an illegal immigrant. Can someone speak on behalf of our brothers and sisters who are being harassed in these two countries. Its not their fault to look for greener pastures down South, every one knows our Government are failing to provide Job opportunities for the youth. Our grannys are still working as manager in the same companies since the 80s n 90s. I have been passing in these countries since 2000 up to now, more than 10yrs and nothing has changed. Does it mean that our media personalities(Journalists) doesnt travel by Bus and witness these malpractices? Can someone write about it to inform our leaders, the Government should do some thing about it, its not a secret that 75% the youth work in SA illegally, they got no choice. I remember even thou I was young in the Kamuzu MCP Era there was THEMBA, our fathers and uncles used to work down there courtesy of the two Governments.
