My heart feels so heavy, my soul like its missing a piece. Today we laid to rest the most wonderful man you could ever know. My Papa was such a huge part of my life and we shared so much together. Maybe were a little strange but the men of the family both dug the grave and buried Papa together. Seeing the process through from beginning to end was a truly unique and fulfilling experience that brought a great deal of peace and closure to my heart. Having a part in his service was such an honor and I know he would be proud of us all. I love this family so much and we will all rally around Gram as the center of it. Papas love for his family was second only to his love for Jesus Christ and he would want everyone to come to know Christ so we can all be together again someday. We can all learn from Papas legacy and, through us, he will live on. Love you Papa...see you again soon.
