My heart feels very heavy to hear this unwelcome news. I will be the one to admit it, me and Layne were not friends, in fact we actually never got along. I regret not apologizing to him and making amends with him after the bullying we used to do to each other. I regret the things I said to him, and I regret the way I acted towards him, and above all I regret not being the person I should have been, the friend I could have been. It is such a tragic story, such a terrible thing to have happened. If anyone knows heartache, pain and loss its definitely East Carter. So many Raiders gone too fast. This will serve as a eye opener to everyone, forever that life can be taken at any moment. The next breath you take could actually be your last. Not only Layne, but Johnny, Paige, Hunter, all of these wonderful life loving people are gone too fast. But the only explanation is that its a part of Gods divine plan. We all need to band together in these rough, turbulent times and let each other know, people some of us label as outcasts and losers are in fact human beings. Human lives, each one sacred. Each and every single one, priceless. It is with my deepest sympathy and largest condolences that I send love, compassion and above all, strength in these rocky times to the Fraley family. It is my firm belief and hope and indeed the hope of many others, that a better society, a better class, a better student body can emerge out of the suffering and heartache of the past. We really never do know what we have until its gone. Please let us remember these words, Life is eternal, Love is immortal, and death is only a horizon; and a horizon is nothing but the limit of our sight. ❤️
