My heart goes out to the parents and family of the shot ferguson kid, I dont think it was how things should have gone. But dont forget he made choices, poor choices, his choices, pre-cop confrontation, robbing a liquor store and pushing and threatening the cashier is not cool, its not cool. That was his choice, no one made him do that, but he used his size to intimidate a smaller old man working at a liquor store. His choice to strong arm that cashier, he didnt have to do that. Not a smear situation by police force releasing video, its what the kid chose to do. People wanted the info, it happened. Should we tell at his parents for him robbing a liquor store? Or him? He made that choice. He could have paid, as all of us do. Like regular people do. If any of us had a friend or relative that was that cashier, we would have wanted that guy arrested. If you owned the business, would we have been ok with someone robbing and taking your merch and pushing an employee? No, definitely not. Any business for that matter is not cool with employees being pushing and property being stolen. We all agree on that. Then after robbing and pushing an old defenseless old Man, you walk in the street, and are not willing to listen to a cop and get out of the street? Dude, grow some brains, you just robbed a liquor store. Avoid the controversy, stay on the sidewalk, dont BEG for trouble. You rob a store, push an old man, walk in the middle if the street, your dumb. And youre asking for trouble. His choice. The cop was still wrong, without any doubt, I wish he didnt get shot, but that kid made some stupid stupid decisions. So to everyone else thats young, learn from this, PAY for merchandise at a store and keep your conversation minimal with cops and obey easy laws, and youll avoid controversy. Again, cop was wrong, and wish kid would not have gotten shot, but kid made some dumb decisions. Those were that kids choices.
