My heart hurts...for I lost a mentor, a friend, a colleague, a big brother....from the days of yelling at me to SHUT UP TURNER! during VK rehearsals to personally naming me VK drum major (So....uh....Turner. You wanna be the drum major?) to our emails and texts and sightings over the years.... a true legend in this activity. And a friend. Who I know was proud of me and my tiny accomplishments. I will miss you very much Mike McCool. You are going somewhere farrrrrrrr better than this sphere. But you are leaving behind a HUGE amount of people that truly loved you and truly looked up to you.....your legacy is well known. Your impact felt by I think it would be safe to say hundreds of thousands. I am SOOOOOO grateful to so many people here on Facebook that showered Mickey with your love and well wishes. It was ASTOUNDING. It made this Hulk break down in tears many times over the last 48 hours. It was amazing to see. So thank you. And as a friend messaged me just now....he is.probably BLOWN AWAY by the amount of love he was.sent off with from all of you. I shall see you again Mike. Now you are pain free. And I bet sooooooo happy. I miss you. And I love you of course....until we meet again.....
