My heart is focusing on those who are caregivers tonight. The daughter who is patiently loving her mother with dementia or Alzheimers, the mother who sees the sweetness in her child who has autism or life altering disabilities, the husband who holds the hand of his wife who has suffered a devastating stroke, & the father who silently grieves for his child who didnt make it past birth, all the while putting on a brave face for the rest of the world to see - you are all in my thoughts & prayers. May the strength & love of God lift you when you are down & comfort you like a warm hug. My prayers are also for the brave men & women serving our country worldwide, as well as those in the uniforms of our law enforcement & firefighters protecting us here at home. May this night hold promise & calm as we enter into a brand new year. God bless you all - YOU are my heros!
