My heart is heavy because of what is happening in my country. I never thought I will live to witness such total disregard of rule of law. Ke gore le ha gotwe u support the BDP ke gore internal party wranglings now amount to public interest! Tota ke raa jang ka people defended the govt when the whole country waited for one man for almost two years re sena minister of defence, e bo e re case e tshololwa tsatsi jeno kamoso, ebo monna a boetse month tirong, it was still ok! As I take my pen to continue wit my fiction, I hope to inspired by these unusual happenings, I hope to depict my lived experiences under this good govt. Disillusionment of the failed democracy project in Africa seems to have finally arrived on our shores. The good thing abt life, is that time goes on and on, and tomorrow we will have the benfit of hindsight, to see who we stood by n watched as things deteriorated. I meet many Zimbabweans who relate the path their country went through wit so much pain, they opted to be blinded by their individual interests, while the economy was plumetting! Go on shout the party slogans, go on defend, and pliz do so, even when there is no food on the shelves! God bless Botswana!
