My heart is heavy today.... At 6:32pm last night we gained a gorgeous angel! With his hair still perfect our boy is now pain free and resting peacefully. Although this brings great sadness Oscar was out causing havoc last night... With a broken leg & dislocated elbow everyone who participated left everything on the field. A full field game of super tag 13v13 was the highlight of the night with hundreds of people coming out to support the spectacle. My deepest sympathies go out to oskies amazing family! The support network of people that has been there over the last week cooking food, driving kids around, bringing bedding, flowers, gifts, singing, praying and just being there to support has been nothing but extraordinary! Oscar I was laughing with Nasi about the zip ties on the bumper of my car as you thought you could fix the world with those things. Your infectious smile and cheeky nature will live on through all the beautiful memories that we have been discussing over the last week.
