My heart is heavy today. I just learned that a wonderful man, friend, father, husband and musician that was like a son to me has passed in Aug 2014. He was so energetic and full of life, married the perfect wife and had 3 gorgeous children. In his teens he worked in my bicycle shop side by side, raced BMX bikes on our team, test piloted many, spent a great deal of time with me and my family, learned how to play guitar initially through my teachings and spending quality time together. He was only 53 years old and has been fighting for life for the past 7 years after a stem cell stroke. May you rest in peace and watch your children from above. Rock that guitar in heaven.
