My heart is overloaded with pain. Cinny puked her guts out this am. 2 of my fellow co-workers (family) have gotten cancer diagnosis in the past 2 weeks. Im angry and just dont understand. Why cancer? We have inmates that outlive and get better healthcare than the general public that supports them. Im not bashing them nor do I think they should be treated any less. However these 2 family members of mine work hard and spend hour after hour dedicating their hearts to take care of the elderly. Now they must worry about how are they going to survive? Both of them want to continue to work through treatment and continue doing what they love. They are willing to put their lives on the line to continue nursing.
