My heart is saddened to learn of the passing of another soldier in the GMWA Theola Booker. She along with Ronald J. Materre are facilitators in the New Music Seminar segment of each years GMWA convention. When my original tune Praises Unto You was presented at the 2010 convention, Ms. Booker liked it so well we ( Bridget Bazile was on lead backed by The Gospel Music Workshop of America, Inc., Atlanta Chapter) had to do a reprise. Shell never know how good that made me feel and I sold more copies because of her endorsement. RIP Theola.
