My heart is saddened when I hear about babies being abused at the hands of their parents or the people they allow win their childrens lives. There is no shame is doing what is right.....Parenting is overwhelming sometimes and we dont always get it right...but it is expected of us to get it right most of the times...IN THE EVENT THAT IT IS NOT WORKING OUT FOR YOU AND WHAT WAS ONCE THAT SWEET BUNDLE OF JOY....DO NOT HESITATE TO SEEK HELP....REACH OUT TO SOMEONE AND SAY...HONESTLY I CANNOT DO IT NOW, ANY LONGER, WHATEVER TIME PERIOD YOU NEED TO COOL OFF...OR EVEN IF IT IS LETTING GO FULLY. IT IS A BETTER DESCISION FOR BOTH INVOLVED TO BE HONEST THAN TO HURT THE CHILD IN ANY WAY. Children are a handful... if anyone tell you otherwise they are not being honest...it is total commitment sometimes if you are doing it alone a total take over of your life....your identity is now taken over as parent...you are expected to do the RIGHT thing and you must always choose the right thing when it comes to your child/children. My heart hurts that a beautiful 1 year old was stuffed in a backpack and tossed in the river as if he was nothing at the hands of parents he looked too for protection. My heart hurts for a 6 year old girl who was raped and bludgeoned too death at the hands of her step father to satisfy his sick pleasure...This is just a drop in the bucket of children who trust their parents for protection and in the end is betrayed by their hatred. Love your children enough to ask for help before it is too late. FAMILIES DONT EVER, EVER HESITATE TO STEP IN WHEN THAT PARENT ASK FOR HELP, OR SEEM FRUSTRATED AT THAT CHILD...THIS IS THEIR WAY OF ASKING FOR HELP... FOR THE SAKE OF THE CHILD DONT LOOK THE OTHER WAY.
