My heart is so full of love because of all of you. A lot of you are my friends on FB outside of this page but if youre not, you do know I have been very nervous and anxious about all of the riots and violence here. I started purging 40 some odd years worth of stuff that Ive never been able to let go of. I cleared out my basement. I donated to goodwill. I shared some of my yarn stash with several people that I met here on Ricos page. On my way to get a wrapping paper holder (I ended up with far more than that but dont judge me!LOL) I found out that Debra was adopting Jeff. Then The Container Store entered my life and now Im cleaning and organizing like a champ. Ive been putting our random act of kindness into my daily life. I forget, sometimes, to be grateful for all I have because there are so many people with far less than me. When I asked you all to send cards to a stranger because he was sick and dying, you all came through with flying colors. I learned so much about unconditional love from the stories a lot of you shared with me. One person in particular touched me beyond belief. I will not share her name as a respect for her privacy. She is facing Christmas with a young teenage daughter and she lost her job. She had no money and a lot of fearful unknowns. Do you all know what she said to me? She said Im blessed to have a roof over my head, food in my belly, good health and a postage stamp. Where do I mail the card? She taught me and blessed me with a true lesson in selfless love of another person. I hope you all understand why I always say that I get so much from all of you that Im just humbled to my knees and because of her Im much more aware of my blessings. Happy Saturday fur loves.
