My heart is so heavy right now...Brandons condition, Connor Beasleys condition...I am finding it hard to catch my breath. I remember the first few days in the hospital at LSU...not knowing if Brandon would live or die...I couldnt breath...it just seemed like the breath was being sucked right up out of me. Melissa dreamed constantly that she was running for her life...couldnt stop....couldnt get to the end...just running...running...running. She now knows that she was actually running for Brandons life....trying to get to a safe place where he would be ok. Everyone has different feelings, everyone reacts differently to tragedy, but one thing we all have in common....we know we cannot do anything without the help of God! Even the doctors are in His hands and do His bidding! We HAVE to put out faith and our trust in Him and turn it all over to Him. We are just little fish in a huge ocean...we have no power unless it is give to us by God. Please continue to pray for Connor Beasley and for his family and friends. I know they are in shock right now...the hurt, the pain, the feeling that they could have done something to prevent the accident...so many things go through your head...but nothing changes the horror you have to face! God doesnt cause bad things to happen...they happen because we are of the world. Sin came into the world long ago and changed everything God had planned for us. Satan is still alive and working day and night to cause turmoil, death, and destruction. Place your hand in the hand of the man who stilled the waters and calmed the sea...
