My heart is so heavy today. I didnt know I could become so attached to one of our four-legged brothers and sisters, but it happened. Last night, our very special dog Cleo died suddenly and totally unexpectedly. Janet and I were with her when she took her last breath. I learned so much from her. Some dogs just give their unconditional love. Cleo made us earn it and when we finally did, she became a wonderful family member, friend, teacher, confidant, companion, and even collaborator. I miss her so much. My office is so empty this morning. The last lesson she taught me was how little control I have over anything, really no control. Give the important people and animals in your life an extra hug right now...just in case. Say something really good to them. Right now.
