My heart is still pounding after Muffin, my 13 year old poodle, fell in the pool this morning while I was inside getting my things ready for work..she was splashing for her life while gasping for air since she is on the hefty side and couldnt hold her weight in the water! MY HEART SANK! I was able to pull her out since she was near the edge..but I was prepared to jump in wearing my scrubs if she was in the middle of the pool! If I had waited just one more minute to go outside to let the dogs in, she would have drowned..went to work in partially wet clothes but thats ok, atleast my mamas is ok..I love her!
