My heart is very heavy today. I guess you can say I am sad!! I have been here a little over a week and have visited my mother here in the rest home. When I go int her room, Her window shade is pulled down and the curtains closed. The light is kept off most of the time. She lays in the bed her favorite blanket pulled up to her chin. She is sooo feeble. It is such a challenge to get her to sit up, go for a short stroll in her wheelchair and even to talk to me!! (Of course, she no longer wants to greet others...no less chat with anyone!!!--not my friendly no one is a stranger talkative mother! Today my sister Linda and I are praying if she isnt going to get better that The Lord in His mercy would take her home. NOT what we really would want....I want my momma to be happy doing anything with us. Even go out to dinner or maybe get her nails done! I love her so much but dont like seeing her suffering so. Thank you for just hearing my heart and praying for all of us siblings that love her so much. Thank you thank you.
