My heart, such as it is, goes out to those without heat, and those - TopicsExpress

My heart, such as it is, goes out to those without heat, and those whose streets are a long way from being plowed, and those who have to make scavenge trips like Bobby Gott did, and those whose cars are buried beneath snow, who wonder why there was even a debate about whether or not the Bills should play at the Ralph this Sunday, or other nonsensical trivialities. A big part of WNY is _buried_, me and my family are so lucky. Rod Durick II is buried. Bob Bozeks car is missing in a field of white, Paul McGinnis - just 10 minutes away! - has been dealing with a wall of ice at the end of his driveway. Its crazy, just crazy. I dont even know how many other friends are roughing it. Stay strong, guys! Nothing else matters. The Central Terminal, where we shot BATLEDOGS, is being used as a dumping ground for tons of snow. Driving bans are still in effect. And Monday, when the temperature climbs to 57 degrees, we face major flooding all over. I suspect this Thursday will be a soulful Thanksgiving for most of us in WNY. And then we can get ready for winter.
