My heart was filled with heaviness, an elderly lady just left from here to bring in her returns. As I watched her get out of her car I knew for me to help her to get the bags out, as I always do for an disable or elderly people. BUT what I did not notice at first this beautiful lady was in tears, and normally I do not question but she was trying to catch her breath. I ask if she was ok and then suddenly she really started to cry, and then she says to me god bless you for talking to me I need to hear someone speak to me. Earlier this morning as she was sipping on her coffee and said to her great grandchildren isnt it a beautiful morning assuming from what she told me they were more interested in their cell phones instead of carrying on a little caring moment of conversation. Then later they did not help her to bring the returns to her car, she had to do this on her own and this woman told me she is 78 years old. I saw my work was starting to pile but it did not matter to me, for I knew she needed someone to talk to and we did chat about anything the weather, people, and life. She was all smile by the time she left and gave me a hug and said thank you and I said no I thank you for taking the time to talk to me. Please folks what I am trying to say if you see someone elderly or disabled or anyone who needs to talk PLEASE take the time and listen to them they need someone to hear them who knows how long they will be on this earth, whether its your grandparents, parents, kids, aunts uncles
