My hearts desire is to see the body of Christ united. For so long we have been drifting apart and the strain is taking its toll. Imagine all parts of your body trying to do things without co-operating, this is how we are as the church. Instead of building each other up we are actually competing to see who is better or who has the largest number of followers. But according to the word that is not Gods desire. Jesus prayed for our unity in John 17 v 21 Father, may they all be one as You are in Me and I am in You; may they be in Us, for by this unity the world will believe that You sent Me. In this great prayer (John 17) Jesus prays for His disciples, He returns repeatedly to the gathering of believers unified with the Father and the Son. For us to be united there has to be love, without love it all seems impossible.
