My house is done. Thank you Lord. Its been a long 7 year journey but I can say with confidence, its done. No more saying, Hopefully it will be done by the end of the month or being asked Are you in your house yet? Every time I thought I would be finished, the devil would throw a wrench in my plans: 2010 laid off from Verizon, my father had a surgery every year from 2008-2011, 2013 laid off again, lost my unemployment benefits after 6 month(thank you government for not extended it), thousand of dollars spent on repairs on my car. I could keep going, but GOD! He stepped in. I lost my unemployment benefits back in April. Didnt know what I was going to do but I knew I was not going to go back into the call center environment if I could help it. Back in June I had to take my car in for some repairs. Mechanic tells me its going to cost over $800 to fix. I was like dang. As I was heading out the front door to pick up my car Brenda Richards calls me to ask if I could help volunteering with the summer camp. I said sure. To make a long story short, when I met with she and the pastor about working with the camp, the next thing I know she was telling me I was going to get paid while working with the camp. Theres God again! At the beginning of the 2014 I said I was going to finish my house and find a job. God had blessed me with both. Im currently working temporarily for a company but hoping next year I will find something permanent. Again Thank you Lord. Also Thank you for being so forgiving because there were times I was angry, ungrateful, and resentful but you calmed me down. You showed me the many blessings you blessed me with during this journey. Thank you.
